  • Lead analysis of important strategic questions, using data and structured problem solving to develop clear recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Monitor developments across the payments ecosystem and assess risks, opportunities, and implications for AP+.
  • Investigate complex or ambiguous business situations, identify root causes and recommend practical improvements.
  • Lead workstreams and support high-priority initiatives from concept through execution, with clear measures of progress and business outcomes.
  • Assess strategic options, investments, feasibility, costs, benefits, and trade-offs to support sound business decisions.
  • Work across product, technology, operations, and industry engagement teams to build alignment and deliver integrated outcomes.
  • Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitate informed discussion, and communicate strategic advice clearly.

Requirements

  • Experience assessing options and feasibility, including strategic alignment, costs, benefits, risks, and investment trade-offs.
  • Ability to translate recommendations into practical workstreams, support execution, and monitor progress against strategic objectives.
  • Experience developing appropriate measures, reporting, and insights to support decision-making and track outcomes.
  • Experience within payments, financial services, or other highly regulated environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Skills

  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills, including the ability to draw useful insights from data, research, and market information.
