About the Role
Seeking enthusiastic achievers to impact the future of nursing education. This role involves planning, scheduling, and overseeing nursing student clinical rotations and faculty.
Responsibilities
- Plans, schedules, and assigns nursing students to clinical rotations.
- Provides ongoing clinical faculty oversight to clinical sites.
- Coordinates clinical experiences.
- Engages in public relations to maintain professional relationships with clinical placement sites.
- Actively seeks new clinical sites for future student placements.
- Continuously improves scheduling and curriculum effectiveness.
- Completes clinical call sheets during site visits and logs them into a Master Monthly Status Report.
- Teaches in the nursing program as assigned by the Dean/Director of Nursing.
Requirements
- Unencumbered licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in NY.
- Current CPR certification as a health care provider.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
- An unencumbered driver's license.
- Auto insurance with a copy on file in the business office.
- Current clinical nursing knowledge and ongoing maintenance of clinical competency.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and through learning technologies.
- Ability to work effectively with clinical agencies, staff, faculty, and students as a team member.
