About the Role
Contribute to business growth through new product development and existing product improvement, managing the entire development process from concept to mass production. This includes market research, competitor analysis, recipe design, prototyping, sensory evaluation, cost analysis, production validation, line testing, quality assurance, specification acquisition, and labeling, all while collaborating with internal departments and external partners to ensure feasibility and competitiveness.
Responsibilities
- Confirm product concept and assume target quality.
- Conduct raw material research and screening, and select and validate packaging materials.
- Repeatedly design recipes and prototype, conduct sensory evaluations, and improve prototypes.
- Set manufacturing conditions such as sterilization and freezing.
- Confirm quality, safety, and product value while performing cost estimations and cost reduction considerations.
- Create manufacturing flow and implement it at the manufacturing plant.
- Confirm packaging materials, organize and address issues during startup.
- Acquire raw material specifications and create labels.
- Coordinate with marketing, SCM, sales, quality assurance, procurement, suppliers, etc., as needed to promote projects.
- Collect and analyze information on market trends, competitor products, and new technologies, and utilize it for development themes and improvement proposals.

Skills
- Planning and development, product development, or food manufacturing practical experience in a food manufacturer.
- Basic understanding of the product development process.
- Knowledge of food-related laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of quality standards, hygiene standards, and packaging material standards.
- Experience in material development or technology development.
- Business-level English proficiency.
