About the Role
Freelancer.com is seeking a motion and visual designer (AI-Native) to create engaging content, memorable branding, and exceptional product experiences. You will be part of a small, sharp creative team with significant ownership of Freelancer's visual identity and motion design.
Responsibilities
- Lead motion design across social media, campaigns, brand, and product.
- Create social-first motion content for platforms like TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
- Design and animate high-impact landing pages, feature launches, and in-app moments.
- Shape brand assets and advance the brand's visual presence in the AI space.
- Utilize AI tools for image, video, 3D, and code to accelerate exploration and prototyping.
- Build motion systems and templates to ensure team efficiency and quality.
- Deliver projects from concept to completion rapidly.
Requirements
- A personal portfolio website showcasing best work (Behance, Dribbble, or PDF alone are insufficient).
- Demonstrated range in social, brand, and UI work within a single portfolio.
- Motion design with crafted timing, easing, and storytelling.
- Strong understanding of typography, color, composition, and layout.
- Ability to elevate plain interfaces into award-worthy visuals.
- Hands-on experience with AI creative, image, video, and motion tools, with a clear point of view on their application.
- Mastery of After Effects and Figma.
- Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- A strong sense of social media trends and brand building.
- Include a link to your personal portfolio website and showreel.
- Specify AI tools used in your workflow and provide an example of their impact.
- Bonus: Experience with Rive, Lottie, Spline, Three.js, or custom prototype coding.
