About the Role
Ashurst Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a midlevel to senior associate to join its rapidly growing Emerging Companies & Venture Capital group. The practice focuses on representing innovative companies and their founders throughout their lifecycle, as well as the funds that invest in them. Clients range from newly-formed startups to multi-billion dollar technology market leaders. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collegial office environment while working closely with experienced practitioners on sophisticated matters at a national and global level.
Responsibilities
- Representing innovative companies and their founders throughout their lifecycle (business formation, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions)
- Representing funds that invest in innovative companies
- Advising clients on venture financings, corporate governance, and regulatory strategy relating to AI, Web3, blockchain, crypto, metaverse, and other frontier technologies
- Effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of experience
- Stellar academic credentials and references
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- CA bar admission is required
