About the Role
Texas Roadhouse is seeking a passionate Assistant Service Manager to support the Service Manager in overseeing daily Front of House operations. This role is crucial for maintaining our standards of Legendary Food, Legendary Service, and Legendary People.
Responsibilities
- Oversees service in the Front of House
- Enforces compliance with employment policies
- Oversees and approves Front of House side work
- Provides and oversees thorough training
- Works during peak business times to set the pace in the Front of House
- Manages through hands-on supervision, including non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, and cooking
- Ensures 100% table visitation to gather customer insights and assist in developing sales strategies
- Leads by example to help develop employees and assistants
- Helps to cross-train employees
- Oversees scheduling of designated departments
- Develops promotions and conducts alley rallies
- Manages compliance with Responsible Alcohol Service training requirements
- Understands and practices safe food handling procedures
- Ensures restaurant cleanliness and guest safety
- Helps to control the guest flow
- Assists with liquor inventory and ordering
- Assists Local Store Marketer with building sales
- Maintains the restaurant's culture and core values
