About the Role
Beca is seeking a Principal – Ports and Maritime to help lead and shape our maritime business, leveraging extensive senior-level experience in ports/marine infrastructure projects within a consulting environment.
Responsibilities
- Helping to shape the growth of the ports and maritime business across the region
- Maintaining and developing strong relationships with clients and industry partners
- Leadership of a range of complex ports and maritime projects across the wider region
- Providing technical leadership in the ports and maritime sector
- Developing a culture of outstanding delivery within the team
- Business development
Requirements
- Extensive senior level experience in ports/marine infrastructure projects in a consulting environment
- Experience across a range of assignments within the maritime market including technical delivery and project leadership with a strong emphasis on client relationships
- Masterplanning for ports and/or shipyard projects
- Working in the Pacific and design of works in the Pacific region
- Experience working with contractors, delivering designs under both traditional as well as Design & Construct or similar arrangements
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or similar)
