About the Role
SoftPro is seeking a Product Manager to join our Product organization to help us build our new SaaS platform for our Closing, Title & Escrow software solutions. This position focuses on Custom Development integrations with vendors and customers.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap.
- Guide development teams on necessary changes.
- Participate in product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle.
- Mentor product owners on gathering and prioritizing features and change requests.
- Assist in designing new features with product owners and the development team.
- Validate features with customers.
- Understand your product and its target customers.
- Create and communicate product vision and mission statements.
- Analyze product usage statistics to identify opportunities and successes.
- Build qualitative and quantitative understanding of the customer.
- Represent the customer to development teams.
- Form and facilitate customer advisory boards.
- Develop feedback loops for product teams.
- Understand the customer's full journey and lifecycle.
- Research the competition and understand product strengths and weaknesses.
- Stay informed on industry trends and customer concerns.
- Identify new ideas to fill competitive gaps and grow market share.
- Build and share the product roadmap.
- Determine development priorities based on customer, product, and competitive understanding.
- Document priorities in roadmaps and communicate them.
- Provide realistic forecasts for planning.
- Coordinate tactical product tasks throughout the release cycle.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to ensure design consistency.
- Provide status updates on key features/epic progress to portfolio management.
- Hold 1:1 meetings with direct reports.
- Manage up to five teams.
- Coach and mentor team members.
- Ensure teams meet SoftPro's standards and practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Product Owner or equivalent.
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
- Ability to take concepts and ideas to fully functioning solutions.
- Must be able to solve real customer problems and deliver the highest level of value.
- 3+ years of experience in agile methodologies.
- Experience in DevOps/Miro.
- Technical background, with experience in integrations, a plus.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Must be able to travel 10% of the time.
- Examples of at least one effective product delivered in the past.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with customers, dev teams, and executive management.
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and results-driven.
