About the Role
We build unique, custom fabrications for major events and brand experiences, requiring precise 3D modeling and shop drawing skills to translate creative concepts into buildable realities for our in-house team.
Responsibilities
- Create drawings for one-off builds such as photo moments, branded displays, scenic pieces, trade show features, and custom activations.
- Translate creative event ideas into buildable pieces by owning 3D models, shop drawings, and machine files.
- Provide the shop with necessary files and details to maintain project momentum on fast-turnaround event work.
- Collaborate within a communicative shop environment with other draftsmen and carpenters.
- Utilize a diverse range of software for varied project requirements.
Requirements
- Proficiency in 3D modeling with Autodesk Fusion or similar software.
- Experience producing shop drawings that have been used for finished builds.
- Ability to conceptualize and draft unusual builds, even with initial vague ideas.
- Capacity to translate evolving project requirements into buildable drawings and files.
- Proactive in identifying and clarifying details to prevent shop delays.
- Preference for working closely with the individuals constructing from your drawings.
