About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our AI & Data practice. You'll own critical workstreams, guide technical decisions, and help teams deliver AI, data and agentic solutions that are secure, scalable and production-ready.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver AI-enabled applications, agentic workflows and production-grade data solutions that are reliable, scalable, secure and maintainable.
- Apply AI-first delivery methods to lead the successful delivery of a workstream, making sound technical decisions and driving outcomes from design through deployment and operation.
- Review code and designs, champion engineering standards, and lift the quality of the solutions and teams around you.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and delivery teams to shape requirements, evaluate options and translate them into practical technical solutions.
- Build in testing, CI/CD, observability, security and responsible AI practices from the start, using AI-first engineering methods to improve quality, consistency and delivery outcomes.
- Support the growth of less experienced engineers through mentoring, pairing, code review and sharing proven engineering patterns, practices and reusable assets.
Requirements
- 4-6 years’ experience in software, data or AI engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience building GenAI or agentic AI solutions in production.
- Experience with Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore and/or comparable enterprise LLM platforms.
- Experience designing tool-using agents, orchestrated workflows and human-in-the-loop processes.
- Strong software engineering skills, ideally in Python.
- Hands-on AWS engineering experience, including Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB, S3 and Glue.
- Experience integrating AI applications with APIs, data platforms and operational systems.
- Good understanding of AI safety, guardrails, prompt design and evaluation approaches.
- Experience with AgentCore, MCP tools or similar agent frameworks.
- Experience with real-time voice agents or multimodal AI solutions.
- Experience compiling, curating or using golden datasets for evaluation and testing.
- Knowledge of AWS-native AI architecture and secure deployment patterns.
- Banking, capital markets or post-trade domain experience.
- Experience with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants.
- Familiarity with spec-driven development practices.
