About the Role
The Merriest Bar, a Christmas wonderland pop-up, is returning to San Francisco for the holiday season. We are seeking individuals with experience in the restaurant, bar, or hotel industries, or those eager to learn, to join our team. Typical operating hours are between 3:30 PM and 2:30 AM.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders with daily service
- Maintain overall bar cleanliness
- Prepare batches and other cocktail ingredients
- Wash and organize glassware
- Retrieve and keep adequate levels of bar stock
- Clean as part of opening and closing duties
Requirements
- Strong attention to details
- Able to follow directions
- Basic math skills or an ability to use a calculator and understand proportions
- Good interpersonal skills
- Has or is willing to obtain a CA Food Handler’s Certification and RBS training required
- 21+ years of age or older
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
