About the Role
The Merriest Bar, a Christmas wonderland pop-up, is returning to Shotski's Alpine Lodge Bar in San Francisco for the Christmas season (November-December). We are seeking individuals with restaurant, bar, or hotel industry experience, or those eager to learn, to join our team. Typical operating hours are between 3:30 pm and 2:30 am.
Responsibilities
- Use reservation platform to track guest arrivals and departures
- Qualify guests' identification
- Actively greet and seat guests and communicate their status to floor team
- Answer all phone calls, emails, and event inquiries
- Assist in opening and end of day close out as necessary
Requirements
- Experience in beverage or hospitality industry preferred
- Ability to adapt to a variety of guest service needs
- Ability to communicate in English
- Experience using Yelp Guest Manager a plus
- Has or is willing to obtain a CA Food Handler’s Certification and pass RBS training
- 21+ years of age or older
- Must be able to stand for 8 - 10 hours
