About the Role
The Merriest Bar, a Christmas wonderland pop-up, is returning to Shotski's Alpine Lodge Bar in San Francisco for the Christmas season (November-December). We are seeking individuals with experience in the restaurant, bar, or hotel industries, or those eager to learn, to join our team. Typical operating hours are between 3:30 pm and 2:30 am.
Responsibilities
- Prep, setup, and prepare the bar for daily service.
- Prioritize guest orders and strive to deliver drinks promptly and efficiently.
- Take and return a variety of payment types with accuracy.
- Assist in cleaning and sanitizing, as necessary.
- Keep work relationships professional and courteous.
- Demonstrate attention to detail.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a busy hotel, restaurant, or nightclub.
- Demonstrate an ability to maintain strong coworker relationships.
- Flexible evening availability.
- Able to take direction and follow through on all reasonable requests from managers.
- Able to stand 8-10 hours.
- Ability to lift 40lbs. without assistance.
Skills
- Knowledge of various drink-building techniques and styles.
- Classic cocktail knowledge.
