About the Role
The Merriest Bar, a Christmas wonderland pop-up, returns to Shotski's Alpine Lodge Bar in San Francisco for the Christmas season (November-December). We are seeking individuals with restaurant, bar, or hotel industry experience, or those eager to learn, to join our team and contribute to the festive atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Take and deliver drink orders to seated parties.
- Act as a subject matter expert to guests and aid them in making selections.
- Determine situations that need to be escalated to the management team.
- Maintain overall floor cleanliness.
- Support the host team in seating as necessary.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures.
Requirements
- Able to service multiple tables at once.
- Has or is willing to obtain a CA Food Handler’s Certification and pass RBS training.
- 21+ years of age or older.
Skills
- Strong cocktail knowledge and serving experience preferred.
- Demonstrate an ability to interact with many types of guests effectively.
