About the Role
Design cloud solutions that are secure, resilient, cost-aware, and ready for data and AI workloads. Own architecture workstreams on migration and modernization programs, translating business requirements into designs for engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead cloud migration, modernization, and platform architecture initiatives.
- Design secure, scalable architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Build landing zones and reusable IaC patterns using Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
- Assess applications and define migration strategies such as rehost, replatform, and refactor.
- Incorporate security, resilience, and cost optimization into designs.
- Create architecture standards, diagrams, and recommendations for technical leaders.
Requirements
- 5-8 years in cloud engineering, solution architecture, or technology consulting.
- Hands-on depth in at least one major cloud platform, with working knowledge of a second.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security fundamentals.
- Ability to translate technical tradeoffs into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
