Responsibilities

- Define platform quantities, operating areas, tracking update rates, network capacity, coverage, and common operating picture needs.
- Track and manage assumptions, dependencies, and technical risks across concurrent planning cycles.
- Develop event-specific network diagrams, relay and gateway siting concepts, routing and backhaul approaches, and spectrum coordination inputs.
- Coordinate tracker selection, mounting, power, configuration, and environmental needs for various platforms within the goTenna scope.
- Coordinate tracker-to-gateway and TAK/common picture data flows with partner collection networks, clarifying data formats and responsibilities.
- Build and maintain a thorough understanding of goTenna product capabilities, limitations, and integration requirements.
- Translate customer needs into actionable inputs for Product and Engineering, communicating capability limits and escalating gaps.
- Produce configuration baselines, equipment requirements, network plans, and technical briefings for CX teams.
- Support technical escalations and incorporate field lessons into future plans.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- 5+ years in tactical communications, systems integration, solutions engineering, or technical planning for military, government, or operational test environments.
- Demonstrated ability to translate mission requirements into documented architectures, interface requirements, configurations, and validation plans.
- Ability to manage multiple overlapping efforts.
- Practical understanding of RF propagation, mesh networks, relay siting, spectrum deconfliction, IP networking, routing, and transport options.
- Experience with ATAK/TAK and integrating position or sensor data into a common operating picture.
- Ability to coordinate hardware, software, and network interfaces across vendors.
- Ability to lead technical discussions with government planners, range staff, vendors, and internal engineering teams.
- Clear communication of requirements, constraints, decisions, and unresolved risks.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Disciplined configuration and issue tracking.
- Judgment to distinguish validated capability from development targets.
- May require eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
