About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Dentist to handle a wide range of emergency procedures, providing high-quality care with an excellent bedside manner. Our modern facility is equipped with the latest dental technologies, including an on-site dental lab, and offers a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide thorough examinations to determine overall dental health and evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection.
- Diagnose and treat dental problems including root canals, extractions, and restoration.
- Perform dental care treatments including x-rays, fillings, sealants, and cosmetic dental services.
- Provide education to patients on oral hygiene and use of orthodontics and dental appliances.
- Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines.
- Restore oral function and aesthetics with crowns, bridges, veneers, and dentures (including overdentures).
- Handle emergency dental cases with professionalism and urgency.
- Collaborate on implant cases and post-placement restorations.
- Plan cases from start to finish.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of clinical experience outside of residency required.
- DDS or DMD degree from an ADA-accredited dental school is required.
- Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry.
- Active State License.
- Previous experience in clinical or private practice.
- CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications.
- Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends.
- Proficiency in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry.
- Strong communication and patient-relations skills.
- Ability to read CT and Panoramic scans and images to diagnose and treat a patient's primary concern.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
- Strong background with consultations, comprehensive treatment plans, and dental emergencies.
- Excellent bedside manner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
