About the Role
This role supports Church members in family history research, temple submissions, and bringing souls unto Christ. The position involves data analysis, issue resolution, and contributing to system development to ensure data integrity and accurate recording.
Responsibilities
- Completes root cause analysis of complex data problems, resolving them by developing and implementing systems and processes.
- Collects and analyzes data using system or ad hoc query tools, preparing written reports.
- Reviews current processes, identifies performance gaps, and recommends solutions to management, product owners, and system development.
- Organizes and manages information from various databases.
- Coordinates with other units, divisions, and departments to resolve data recording problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 7 to 10 years of experience or a Master's Degree with 5 to 7 years of experience.
- Strong data analysis and research skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data.
- Ability to acquire in-depth knowledge of department processes and operations.
- Proficiency in standard desktop software including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Proven ability to learn ad hoc query tools such as Oracle Discoverer or Business Objects.
- Experience with software and system testing.
- Must be a member of the Church and worthy of a temple recommend.
