About the Role
The premium audit control clerk is responsible for the front line written and verbal flow of communication within the department, interacting with external customers and business partners.
Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute mail and email communications in a timely manner
- Create and update premium audit system with notes ensuring accuracy and validity of information
- Monitor and order departmental supplies
- Understand the department’s workflow and authority
- Input of vendor invoices and other payment requests
- Gather and provide audit records as requested to third parties and management
- Handle customer service phone calls per guidelines
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
- Insurance coursework preferable
- Customer Service in insurance or related field preferred
- Candidates who have accepted a formal offer must be willing to undergo a comprehensive background check and drug screen
- Additional screening for credit or MVR may be required for some positions
