About the Role
We are looking for our next great team member to join us as a Food Runner in Shaughnessy's Pub. The role involves carrying dishes and beverages from the kitchen to the correct tables, ensuring orders are complete and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Assist waitstaff by setting tables with proper silverware, napkins, and condiments, refilling water glasses, and providing additional items as needed.
- Act as a liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.
- Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting.
- Promptly and consistently reset all service ware as prescribed.
- Assist servers, bartenders, and managers with carrying plates, polishing utensils, and maintaining kitchen stations.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Responsible for sweeping and mopping floors and overall restaurant cleanliness.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be available nights, weekends and holidays.
- Possess a self-starting personality with an even disposition.
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Communicate well with guests.
- Willing to pitch-in and help co-workers with their job duties.
- Be a team player.
- Understand and believe that every Crescent associate is a guest relations ambassador, every working minute of every day.
