About the Role
Roots is seeking Sales Associates who will act as brand ambassadors, building authentic connections and creating memorable experiences for every customer. The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with customers, acts with integrity, embraces individuality, takes initiative, thrives in a collaborative environment, and supports the team, community, and the Roots brand.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by confidently engaging and assisting customers.
- Build authentic customer relationships that drive sales, customer loyalty, and achievement of individual and store goals.
- Take initiative to meet sales goals and support store success.
- Support daily store operations, including POS transactions, merchandising, replenishment, and maintaining visual standards.
- Resolve customer concerns with a positive, solutions-focused approach.
- Collaborate with teammates and leaders to create an outstanding customer experience.
- Stay current on product knowledge and seek opportunities to learn and grow.
- Contribute wherever needed to support team success and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Requirements
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be available to work during the peak holiday business period, from mid-November through the first week of January.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods during a 3-8 hour shift.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, and move merchandise.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
