  • Contribute to the development of sponsorship inventories, exhibition packages, partnership propositions and new commercial revenue streams.
  • Monitor exhibition industry trends, competitor offerings and evolving sponsor expectations to inform commercial strategies.
  • Collaborate with event, marketing and operations teams to ensure commercial partnerships are effectively positioned, sold and delivered.
  • Provide market intelligence and commercial recommendations to senior leadership to support event growth and product innovation.
  • Take ownership of a strong and qualified sales pipeline, ensuring consistent prospecting, opportunity progression and conversion.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, opportunity records and revenue forecasts within Salesforce CRM.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline performance, sales forecasts, partnership development and market opportunities.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial discipline in managing sales targets, deal values, contract negotiations and revenue delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in exhibition sales, sponsorship sales, commercial partnerships or experiential event sales, ideally within international B2B exhibitions or premium event environments.
  • Proven experience selling exhibition space, sponsorship packages, branded activations and bespoke event partnerships, with a demonstrable track record of revenue generation.
  • Strong understanding of exhibition commercial models, including space sales, sponsorship inventories, premium positioning and experiential monetisation.
  • Demonstrable success in securing high-value commercial agreements, consistently achieving revenue targets and growing strategic accounts.
  • Experience developing and presenting tailored sponsorship and partnership proposals to senior-level decision-makers.
  • Excellent commercial negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to identify and develop new revenue streams through innovative partnership structures and commercially compelling propositions.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach, with the confidence to independently manage complex sales opportunities from inception to close.
  • Strong organisational skills, commercial awareness and experience managing sales pipelines and forecasts.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for industry exhibitions, partner meetings and events.
