About the Role

Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks and applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems to ensure facilities are tidy and functional.

Responsibilities

Inspect buildings and other structures to determine if repairs are needed
Perform minor electrical maintenance, including replacement or repair of fixtures
Perform minor plumbing maintenance, including replacement or repair of leaks in drains & faucets, unclogging drains, and replacing drain hoses
Prepare surfaces for paint/stain on various structures, walls, and equipment
Replace/fix/hang doors, windows, etc.
Fix drywall, calking, etc. as needed
Tile repair
Cement repair
Inspect and troubleshoot equipment repairs (HVAC)

Requirements

18 years of age or older with prior work experience
Well-rounded individual from the construction/building industry
An eye for detail
Manual dexterity and physical stamina
Sound carpentry skills
Ability to work independently and make decisions on repairs
Keeps management informed of any major repair findings
Valid clean driver’s license
Able to stand, kneel, squat, bend over, climb up and down ladders, lay horizontally, etc.
Able to lift 50+ pounds
