About the Role
Otis is seeking apprentices for a 3.5-year training program to become Mechatronics Technicians (m/f/d). This program offers hands-on experience in building and programming control systems, assembling elevator systems, and contributing to sustainable mobility with regenerative drive technology.
Responsibilities
- Learn mechanics, hydraulics, and control technology in the ABB training workshop.
- Build and program electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
- Assemble elevator systems with experienced colleagues in new construction or modernization projects.
- Ensure smooth operations on construction sites.
- Contribute to sustainable mobility with regenerative drive technology and networked control electronics.
Requirements
- Minimum of a successfully completed secondary school leaving certificate.
- Good German language skills.
- Enjoyment of mathematics, physics, and computer science.
- Manual dexterity and good technical understanding.
- Ability to work well in a team.
