About the Role
Gen II Fund Services is seeking a Fund Accounting Supervisor to join their growing team. This role offers deep exposure to the private equity fund lifecycle and the opportunity to lead and mentor teams, drive process improvements, and expand expertise within a respected industry platform. Your leadership will be critical in maintaining technical excellence, client service, and operational integrity.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Director/Managing Director managing daily Fund Operations.
- Oversee the operations and accounting of an existing fund independently.
- Interface and manage a client/business with limited guidance.
- Extract key economics, compile, and document a thorough Summary with limited guidance, familiar with LPA and other Governing documents.
- Supervise a small staff of accountants, if necessary.
- Oversee and provide guidance on the initial set up of client fund deliverables (capital calls, distributions, financial statements, waterfalls, IRRs).
- Perform thorough, in-depth review and sign off on deliverables prior to Director/Managing Director review.
- Perform multiple levels of review/analyses of Financial Reports/Capital Events and Private Equity Complex Transactions.

- Extensive Microsoft suite skills - Excel (pivots), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
