About the Role
At CarOnSale, you will work alongside the Operations leadership team from day one, driving cost and process improvements through to implementation. You want projects that you can manage from the initial data analysis to the final result.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for strategic and operational projects in the operations area end-to-end: from problem analysis, concept, and business case to implementation and success measurement.
- You identify levers for greater process efficiency, lower costs, and higher quality based on data – and implement the derived measures yourself.
- You conceptualize automation and AI solutions for operational processes and launch them together with Product & Data.
- You build and further develop dashboards and reporting structures to ensure decisions are data-driven.
- You prepare, moderate internal and external meetings and workshops, and create decision papers.
- You work closely with Operations Management, Regional Leads, our appraisal team, and dispatch.
- You actively participate in daily operations: If a process is stuck, you find the cause, solve the problem quickly, and ensure it doesn't happen again.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of professional experience in a start-up, scale-up, or consultancy – ideally with a focus on operations.
- A completed degree, e.g., in Business, Engineering, (Business) Informatics, or a quantitative field.
- Results you can demonstrate: You have implemented solutions in various projects and know what they achieved.
- Practical experience with AI and automation: You have built your own workflows or apps, used connectors, and know what an MCP is – with concrete use cases you can show.
- Analytical thinking and confident handling of data.
- Hands-on mentality: Strategy and daily business go hand in hand for you.
- German at C2 level and English at at least B2 level – you can also present in English.
