About the Role
Safety-Kleen's facility in New Berlin, WI is looking to add a Welder to the first shift team. We are looking for hardworking professionals who enjoy meeting challenges and surpassing expectations.
Responsibilities
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Welding materials together using GMAW (gas metal arc welding)
- Cutting processes (mechanical and power tools, oxy-fuel plasma arc, air carbon arc, electric arc)
- Cleaning and checking for defects and shape component parts
- Ability to cut, punch, and drill materials using lathes
- Performing quality control
- Following directions given in drawings, blue prints and work orders
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
Requirements
- 1+ years general welding (MIG & TIG) experience required
- Robotic Welding experience preferred
- Forklift experience an asset
- Ability to read blueprints
- Good communication skills both written and spoken
- Good organizational skills.
