About the Role

Pinpoint is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to bridge the gap between Product and the rest of the company. This role is crucial for ensuring that new features are effectively positioned, communicated, and adopted by customers and prospects from day one. You will work ahead of the roadmap, collaborate with product managers, and drive the positioning and launch plans for new features.

Responsibilities

  • Own feature-level positioning, defining what each significant feature is, who it's for, the problem it solves, its name, and its comparison to alternatives.
  • Translate shipped features into customer outcomes, linking features to demonstrate possibilities with proof points and customer stories.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product team, staying informed about the roadmap and specifications to ensure no release is a surprise.
  • Plan and execute product launches with the marketing team, agreeing on customer adoption plans, briefing content teams, and coordinating events and social media.
  • Create core launch assets, including launch copy, one-pagers, and enablement packs.
  • Provide Sales with necessary enablement materials, including messaging, talk tracks, and briefs for the sales deck.
  • Ensure company-wide product awareness by informing Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Support teams about new features and how to discuss them.
  • Act as the source of truth for product messaging, identifying and rectifying outdated information across all assets.
  • Create product videos, social media content, ad creative, simple designs, and launch copy, or brief others as needed.

Requirements

  • Product marketing experience in B2B SaaS with a proven track record of end-to-end feature positioning and launch.
  • Launch and campaign management experience, with a history of coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Technical depth, with the ability to understand and simply explain technical product features.
  • Experience in a startup or scale-up environment, comfortable with small teams and varied responsibilities.
  • Ability to act as both a strategist and a doer, handling positioning and asset creation.
  • Experience working closely with product teams, embedded early in the roadmap and specs.
  • Skill in translating product specifications into usable positioning.
  • A proactive approach to goal setting, planning, and delivery without constant supervision.
  • The judgment to assess launch objectives, performance, and make necessary adjustments.
  • A high standard for quality in all work produced.
  • Strong writing skills, emphasizing clarity, simplicity, and conciseness.
  • Good aesthetic sense and the ability to create basic assets like banners, slides, pages, or short videos without needing a dedicated designer.
  • An AI-forward approach to work, utilizing AI for research, writing, and asset creation.
