About the Role
As an SAP BTP Integration Architect (w/m/x), you will design the bridge between SAP, Cloud, and modern architectures. You will develop future-proof integration solutions, set the technical direction, and remain hands-on. This role connects architecture, engineering, and consulting to create solutions that sustainably advance our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and responsibility for the end-to-end integration architecture focusing on SAP BTP and cloud-native concepts (API-first, event-driven).
- Development of actionable architecture concepts and ensuring technical realization (including own hands-on implementation).
- Conception and implementation of scalable integration solutions (SAP Integration Suite, APIs, Event Mesh).
- Consulting on integration governance, API management, and Clean Core strategies.
- Technical leadership and guidance of development teams, including quality assurance of implementation.
- Conducting workshops and translating business requirements into technical integration designs.
Requirements
- Structured team player with enormous initiative, analytical and solution-oriented approach.
- Strong communication skills.
- Very good and fluent German and English language skills are required.
Skills
- In-depth experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh).
- Hands-on expertise in developing iFlows, APIs (REST/OData), and event-based integration.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, API-first, and event-driven design.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Clean Core, and Side-by-Side Extensions.
- Proficient in integration methods (ISA-M, Enterprise Integration Patterns).
- Experience in hybrid integration scenarios (SAP/Non-SAP, Cloud/On-Prem).
- Ability for technical leadership, architectural guidance, and translating concepts into actionable solutions.
