About the Role
Als AI Engineer binnen het Data & AI-team werk je samen met klanten aan AI-vraagstukken van idee tot implementatie. Je onderzoekt wat er werkelijk nodig is, maakt technische keuzes begrijpelijk en bouwt zelf mee aan de oplossing. Je bent engineer én consultant: hands-on met technologie en een Trusted Advisor voor onze klanten.
Responsibilities
- Samen met klanten bedrijfsproblemen vertalen naar AI use-cases en bepalen wanneer AI wel, en niet, de juiste oplossing is.
- Prototypes ontwerpen en deze doorontwikkelen tot betrouwbare toepassingen die in de praktijk gebruikt kunnen worden.
- GenAI-applicaties bouwen met onder andere LLMs, RAG, agents, tool calling en moderne AI-workflows.
- AI-oplossingen integreren met bestaande data, API's, applicaties en bedrijfsprocessen.
- Schaalbare architecturen ontwerpen voor AI-applicaties in de cloud.
- Kennis delen binnen Orange Business en bijdragen aan de verdere ontwikkeling van onze Data & AI-propositie.
Requirements
- Ervaring met het ontwikkelen van AI-oplossingen, bijvoorbeeld als AI Engineer, ML Engineer, Data Scientist of een vergelijkbare rol.
- Comfortabel met Python en begrijpt wat er nodig is om code betrouwbaar en onderhoudbaar te maken.
- Begrijpt wat er nodig is om AI-oplossingen verder te brengen dan een experiment of notebook richting een productieomgeving.
- Werkt graag samen met klanten en collega's waarbij je technische keuzes duidelijk kunt maken aan mensen met verschillende achtergronden en kritische vragen kan stellen.
- Nieuwsgierig, probeert graag nieuwe technologie uit en deelt kennis met anderen.
