About the Role
As our Spring Break Program Coordinator, you will lead daily camp culture, organizing all activities, schedules, and events to ensure an intentional experience that balances safety with fun. We seek high-energy, detail-oriented leaders with strong problem-solving skills and experience in youth recreation.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute daily schedules, tracks, choice activities, and evening events.
- Manage activity supplies and assist partner organizations hosting programming.
- Lead morning and evening camp assemblies.
- Facilitate safety orientations.
- Manage site-wide schedule transitions via radio communications.
- Observe counselors in action, ensure required camper-to-staff ratios and skills verifications are met.
- Delegate tasks and provide real-time coaching to maintain high program quality.
- Maintain a high level of direct camper engagement.
- Step in to lead activities and foster a compassionate, inclusive camp culture.
- Complete incident and behavior reports.
- Assist with photo management and parent communications.
- Track program expenses.
- Enforce Health Department and ACA standards.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older with a GED or High School Diploma.
- Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Have at least 2 years of experience with camp, youth development, and/or outdoor programs.
- Able to pass a national criminal background check.

About the Company
- Camp runs March 14, 2027- March 20, 2027.
- Staff members live on-site.
- Paid Staff Training will take place: March 5-7.
- Experience at ASC can be used for college internship credit.
- Lake Travis location is a classic hill country setup with lake swimming, high ropes courses, and sunset sports.
- Zilker Lodge location is in the heart of central Austin, offering canoeing Lady Bird Lake, hiking the Greenbelt, and exploring Zilker Park.
