About the Role
This role is crucial for supporting ABB’s Low Voltage System Drives business line as industries increasingly adopt electrification. You will ensure that product performance data and field learnings are leveraged to inform product management, R&D, and sales, ultimately supporting business growth and ensuring products meet emerging requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop a new process, documentation, and meeting practices for efficient product lifecycle decision-making.
- Oversee the product lifecycle process and ensure task execution with stakeholders.
- Coordinate and conduct change impact analysis for product portfolio modifications.
- Facilitate continuous improvements and execution of lifecycle changes.
- Manage global projects involving cross-functional and local unit stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product engineering, product management, portfolio management, R&D, or similar.
- 5+ years of experience leading people, with or without line manager authority.
- Experience on process development is a benefit.
- Experience on frequency converters is an asset.
- Enjoy taking on new challenges and collaborating across functions and backgrounds.
- Readiness for international travel (estimated 15% of work time).
