About the Role
Axon 911 is seeking fullstack software engineers to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on mission-critical public safety technology, operating with a high degree of autonomy and ownership. Engineers will tackle challenging problems in areas like audio/video processing and generative AI, bringing new features from inception to scale while maintaining high standards for stability.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to architect and launch new user-facing features and products
- Design and drive initiatives to improve the availability and reliability of backend systems
- Continuously help improve engineering processes and tools to scale the codebase and team
- Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers
- Travel occasionally to support customer deployments and onsite implementations
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering industry experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems
- Desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experimented with or enthusiastic about embracing AI-augmented ways of building software
