About the Role
The US Growth & Data Science team drives the growth of Capital on Tap's US business through data and advanced analytics, focusing on customer acquisition, approval strategies, and portfolio management.
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery of a high-volume, data-driven US acquisition channel and contribute to its strategy and roadmap.
- Build and maintain data pipelines (SQL, dbt) to create campaign-ready audiences from internal and third-party data.
- Launch and optimize campaigns through analysis and testing.
- Utilize analytical skills to identify commercial growth opportunities across the US customer lifecycle.
- Find and evaluate new data sources (e.g., third-party vendors, web scraping) for marketing, underwriting, fraud, and KYB.
- Partner with the Data Engineering team and external partners to productionize proven datasets and pipelines.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as an Analytics/Data Engineer or Data Analyst in a fast-paced environment (start-up or scale-up).
- Strong analytical/quantitative skills and ability to frame business problems as analytical questions.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Willingness to "get your hands dirty" building, analyzing, and maintaining complex datasets.
- Conviction to challenge assumptions and received wisdom.
- Curiosity to learn and experiment.
- Analytical, pragmatic, and tenacious character.
- Comfortable owning outcomes with minimal direction.
