About the Role
City Veterinary Care is committed to providing comprehensive care to pets in New York City. Our receptionists play a crucial role in maintaining the hospital's reception area, welcoming clients and patients, and ensuring a smooth and compassionate experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area.
- Greet and welcome clients and patients.
- Answer questions and triage client concerns.
- Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution.
- Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow.
- Check in and check out clients and process payments.
- Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need.
- Be comfortable with various medical outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-year veterinary reception experience required.
- Experience with Cornerstone software required.
- Highly organized.
- Possess computer skills.
- Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance knowledge and skillset.
- Hiring eligibility may be contingent on authorizing and completing a satisfactory pre-employment screening.
