About the Role
We are looking for an individual to manage our studio construction projects from initial concept to final handover, maintain existing locations, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role involves revolutionizing the massage industry through high-quality studio development.
Responsibilities
- Manage the construction of new studios, overseeing the process from site acquisition to final handover.
- Plan construction timelines and budgets, solicit and negotiate bids, and prepare for contractor and trade assignments.
- Direct trades and suppliers on-site, implementing design concepts in detail with architects.
- Advance permit applications, including building permits and usage changes, in coordination with authorities, surveyors, and landlords.
- Develop standards such as checklists, sample service specifications, and a partner pool to improve future build-outs.
- Oversee the structural quality of existing studios, coordinating maintenance and repairs with service providers.
- Implement improvements that have proven effective in operations.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in construction sites, site management, or construction project management, gained through training, education, or early career roles.
- Ability to read plans and understand the interplay of trades on a construction site.
- Hands-on mentality to resolve issues proactively.
- Cost awareness and understanding of the impact of construction decisions on budget and schedule.
- Confident demeanor when interacting with tradespeople, surveyors, authorities, and landlords, even in challenging situations.
- Fluent German language skills (mandatory).
- Valid Class B driver's license.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50%.
