About the Role
Join ]init[ to shape the digital administration of tomorrow. You will support public administration in professionalizing, optimizing, and user-orienting their IT services. Work at the intersection of digitalization, organization, and technology to develop sustainable IT Service Management structures with our clients.
Responsibilities
- Be part of the Consulting Unit with a focus on IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Accompany digitalization and transformation projects in the public sector.
- Advise clients on the implementation and further development of ITSM structures and consolidation potentials.
- Analyze administrative and IT organizations, ITSM processes, and responsibilities.
- Identify optimization potential and derive concrete recommendations for action.
- Convince public authority and service provider representatives of the best solution, even in controversial matters.
- Support public organizations in building the necessary capabilities and processes for managing their service providers.
- Advise executives and IT departments on the strategic alignment, further development, and operationalization of ITSM target states.
- Create structured project documentation, including ITSM process models, role and function descriptions, manuals, and project plans.
- Oversee the implementation of ITSM measures and ensure new processes are effectively anchored within organizations.
Requirements
- Completed studies in (Business) Informatics, Economics, Administrative Sciences, or a comparable field, or a comparable qualification demonstrating suitability for the role.
- Knowledge of ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Ideally, initial experience in the conception, optimization, or implementation of ITSM processes.
- Interest in the digitalization of the public sector and in organizational and technical issues.
- Enjoy analyzing complex issues, preparing them understandably, and developing viable solutions with clients.
- Confident demeanor, structured way of working, and strong communication and moderation skills.
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
