About the Role
We are passionate about healthy, wholesome, and organic foods. For the establishment of a new manufactory in Kreuzberg, we are seeking new employees who, like us, enjoy food that is lovingly filled, packaged, and distributed in small batches. We focus on quality, design, and aspiration, not mass production.
Responsibilities
- Support in setting up a production facility in our large kitchen for processed foods
- Filling of food products in compliance with hygiene standards
- Preserving food products using appropriate methods
- Labeling products according to specifications
- Packaging finished products for shipment
- Operating machinery for filling, labeling, and processing
- Ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines in production
- Contributing to the optimization of production processes
- Assisting in the community catering kitchen and in logistics
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene and quality standards (HACCP, IFS, BRC)
Requirements
- Experience in food production or comparable fields
- In-depth understanding of food production
- Experience in gastronomy or production, e.g., as a food technology specialist, machine and plant operator, cook, or kitchen specialist
- Technical understanding and enjoyment of practical tasks
- IT skills are desirable
- Applicants with a disability degree of at least 50 are preferred for hiring in our inclusion company.
