About the Role
You will advise clients on complex issues related to Cyber Security, Information Security, and Security Governance, guiding them in sustainably improving their security levels. You will plan and conduct security assessments, maturity analyses, and technical security audits, ensuring the quality of the results. You will analyze complex IT landscapes, security architectures, and security requirements, identify risks, and derive practical, actionable recommendations. You will support clients in developing, evaluating, and advancing organizational and technical security measures, including those based on established standards and frameworks like ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, and NIST. You will assess technical vulnerabilities and security risks and, depending on your specialization, participate in penetration tests and further technical security analyses. You will guide clients from analysis through conception to the implementation of suitable security measures and assist in prioritizing and managing resulting activities. You will increasingly take on technical responsibility for projects and work packages, coordinate project teams, and act as a competent point of contact for clients. You will prepare complex technical and organizational issues for various stakeholders, including management, and present results and recommendations convincingly. You will support the further development of our Cyber Security services and methods, actively contributing your experience and ideas to our team. If you don't meet 100% of the criteria, that's okay! Responsibilities
- Advise clients on Cyber Security, Information Security, and Security Governance.
- Plan and conduct security assessments, maturity analyses, and technical security audits.
- Analyze complex IT landscapes, security architectures, and security requirements.
- Develop practical and actionable recommendations based on risk analysis.
- Support the development and evaluation of organizational and technical security measures using standards like ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, and NIST.
- Assess technical vulnerabilities and security risks.
- Participate in penetration tests and technical security analyses.
- Guide clients from analysis to implementation of security measures.
- Prioritize and manage security-related activities.
- Take on technical responsibility for projects and work packages.

- Serve as a point of contact for clients.

- Contribute to the development of Cyber Security services and methods.
Requirements
- Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Cyber Security, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in Cyber Security consulting and information security projects.
- Sound knowledge in Information Security and Security Governance.
- Experience in conducting and quality assurance of security analyses, assessments, and technical audits.
- Knowledge of common security standards and frameworks, especially ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, and NIST.
- Experience in developing and evaluating organizational and technical security measures.
- Ability to analyze complex IT and security requirements and derive practical recommendations.
- Experience in technical project management and coordination of project teams.
- Experience in conducting penetration tests is desirable.
- Relevant certifications in Cyber Security or Information Security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, OSCP) are ideal.
- Very good analytical and conceptual skills.
- Enjoy tackling challenges as a team.
- Very good communication skills in German and English.
