You'll maintain a consistent tone and voice while meeting style guide standards.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit user-facing content for web applications, pages, and multi-step flows—including eligibility, account, and status updates—to ensure clarity and consistency across the user experience
  • Write and edit field-level copy (labels, help text, error messages), notifications, transactional emails, and instructional content
  • Build subject matter expertise in product areas to strengthen content and support team members
  • Simplify complex policy information while preserving its meaning
  • Apply writing and style guide standards to user-facing content
  • Work with designs and prototypes to align content with flow logic and conditional states
  • Collaborate with product, design, research, and policy teams in an Agile environment
  • Incorporate usability findings and stakeholder feedback into content revisions
  • Manage review cycles and stakeholder approvals

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in product writing, UX writing, or digital copywriting, with strong editing and proofreading skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
  • Ability to own content deliverables and explain content decisions
  • Familiarity with design and prototyping tools (such as Figma or Axure)
  • Proficiency in Office suite, including tracked changes
  • Experience using SharePoint for document management and review workflows
  • Writing samples or a portfolio of work are required
  • Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States.
  • Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture Federal Services or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
  • Job candidates will not be obligated to disclose sealed or expunged records of conviction or arrest as part of the hiring process.
  • The Company will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant. Additionally, employees who have access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is (a) in response to a formal complaint or charge, (b) in furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including an investigation conducted by the employer, or (c) consistent with the Company's legal duty to furnish information.
