About the Role
Play a critical role in the Alcohol Team by helping bring innovation plans to fruition, collaborating in new and existing product development projects, and gaining exposure across the business up to Managing Director level.
Responsibilities
- Develop new and existing formulations with the NPD manager and organize sample tastings.
- Coordinate gold standard sampling, attend factory trials, and visit manufacturing sites.
- Review and update product and raw material specifications.
- Support technical projects, complete customer forms, and maintain customer databases.
- Track customer complaints with the Quality Manager and ensure high quality product standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience within an NPD department in the food manufacturing industry.
- Experience with beverages and alcoholic drinks is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
- A good understanding of good manufacturing practices and food quality assurance systems.
- HACCP Level 2 highly desirable.
