About the Role
You will advise clients in the automotive industry, from globally active corporations to upper mid-sized companies, and develop end-to-end solutions in the SAP ERP environment. You will conceptualize integrated, industry-specific customer processes in the areas of materials management, manufacturing, and planning, identify suitable solution options from the SAP portfolio, and provide clear recommendations. You will also identify solution gaps, develop targeted options to close them, implement SAP solutions including cross-component integration in projects, and take on management responsibility in sub-projects or smaller projects.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients in the automotive industry, from globally active corporations to upper mid-sized companies, and develop end-to-end solutions in the SAP ERP environment.
- Conceptualize integrated, industry-specific customer processes in the areas of materials management, manufacturing, and planning.
- Identify suitable solution options from the SAP portfolio and provide clear recommendations.
- Identify solution gaps and develop targeted options to close them.
- Implement SAP solutions including cross-component integration in projects.
- Take on management responsibility in sub-projects or smaller projects.
Requirements
- First relevant experience as an SAP process consultant in the manufacturing or automotive industry.
- Knowledge in at least two of the following SAP products: SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM), SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud / Manufacturing Execution System (MES), or SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- Experience as a process consultant with knowledge in discrete manufacturing, the automotive industry, or Aerospace & Defence.
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Industrial Engineering – or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to conceptualize complex customer processes and recommend suitable SAP solutions.
- Knowledge in cloud-based projects including integration aspects is an advantage.
- Fluent German and English skills in speaking and writing are required.
- Proficiency in using AI tools, including agentic AI, in daily work, from formulating effective prompts and automating routine tasks to evaluating AI-generated results for quality and promoting AI practices within the team.
