About the Role
Adina Hotel Darling Harbour is seeking a driven, dynamic General Manager to build performance in a newly transformed boutique waterfront hotel. This role offers the opportunity to own the hotel's performance end-to-end, shape the identity of the Shoreline Kitchen restaurant and bar, and focus on guest service and commercial results with support from TFE Hotels' central service model.
Responsibilities
- Building hotel performance in a newly refreshed environment, setting clear goals and delivering against them.
- Creating a warm, personalised boutique service culture that guests notice and teams are proud of.
- Driving Food & Beverage sales and marketing, including activations, events and local partnerships.
- Owning the direct-impact commercials – revenue, F&B sales, labour and cost control – with budgeting and forecasting support from the central team.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and the local business community.
- Recruiting, developing and inspiring a motivated team through visible, hands-on leadership.
Requirements
- Experience as a General Manager, or an accomplished Hotel Manager ready for the step up, within a quality hotel environment.
- A strong Food & Beverage background, with a track record of driving restaurant and bar performance.
- Sharp commercial acumen and a proven track record of lifting hotel or venue performance.
- A passion for personalised service and building a guest-first culture.
- A dynamic, hands-on and highly visible leadership style, with strong communication and stakeholder skills.
- Understanding of WHS, food safety and hotel compliance requirements.
- Full, unrestricted Australian working rights (sponsorship is not available for this position).
