About the Role
Provide timely and cost-effective pest detection, elimination, and prevention solutions to an established route of commercial customers, protecting their brands and ensuring healthy environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide customers with written evidence of service delivered and advice for maintaining pest-free conditions.
- Provide timely and cost-effective pest detection, elimination, and prevention solutions to an established route at an expert level.
- Deliver pest solutions to customers including commercial businesses, retail stores, food and beverage processing plants, restaurants, and hotels.
- Deliver quality inspection and treatment service to exceed customer expectations and specifications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts.
- Identify customer needs and sell additional solutions to enhance pest prevention and elimination.
- Maintain organization and timeliness of a route.
- Leverage knowledge gained through advanced certifications or licensures as appropriate.
- Up-sell Ecolab’s products and services and/or refer sales inquiries for leads to Account Executives.
- Mix and apply pesticides in accordance with label recommendations and comply with relevant legislation.
- Accurately submit reports and other related paperwork as required at specified time intervals.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience working as a Pest Elimination Service Specialist
- Willingness to be on-call during off work hours and weekends as necessary
- Ability to access and work in a variety of conditions including confined spaces, damp and/or dusty locations, and cold and warm conditions.
- Possess a valid driving license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
