About the Role
The Chef is responsible for the daily running and progress in the company's kitchen, including technical supervision, preparation of dishes, stock management, and menu input.
Responsibilities
- Supervising and preparing dishes in accordance with regulations, work instructions, and planning.
- Ensuring efficiency of the kitchen process and quality of preparation for guest satisfaction.
- Managing stock, including ensuring sufficient stock, timely orders, and correct storage according to the FIFO principle.
- Performing cleaning and tidying up activities according to planning and safety regulations.
- Submitting improvement proposals and optimizing processes, including accountability of consumption and uniform application of instructions.
- Managing adverse circumstances such as lifting, standing, potential work pressure, and risks associated with kitchen equipment and floors.
