About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to partner with senior leaders, influence strategic decision-making, and help shape a strong risk culture across financial and non-financial business units within one of Australia's most dynamic and highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

Drive and embed Crown's enterprise risk management framework across the Sydney property.
Support Line 2 oversight and reporting of department risks, incidents, and issues.
Review and challenge departmental risk profiles, ensuring they remain current and effective.
Partner with leaders to identify, assess, and manage key strategic, operational, and regulatory risks.
Monitor risk incidents, issues, and emerging trends, and help drive meaningful action.
Provide oversight of key controls across financial and non-financial risk areas.
Support projects and business initiatives with practical, commercially focused risk advice.
Facilitate risk workshops and training programs to strengthen risk awareness and capability.
Build strong relationships across the business to foster a positive and proactive risk culture.

Requirements

6+ years' experience in risk management, governance, compliance, or a related discipline.
Experience working within a large, complex, or highly regulated environment.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with confidence engaging executive leaders.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capability with demonstrated technical ability across risk and controls.
Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Risk, Governance, Commerce, or a similar field.
Experience within gaming, hospitality, financial services, or another regulated industry will be highly regarded.
Ability to obtain all required Casino Employee Licenses.
