About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated maintenance assistant to join our growing team in Williamsville, NY. Canterbury Woods is a continuing care retirement community dedicated to providing older adults with the best possible living experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed.
- Perform preventive maintenance audits as directed.
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols of the facility.
- Promptly answer and respond to emergency situations as first responders.
- Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor no matter how minor.
- Aid with valet parking of residents’ automobiles.
- Use department radios to communicate with other maintenance technicians and promptly respond.
- Prepare written reports as necessary.
Requirements
- Must have basic maintenance knowledge including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, etc.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s license.
