About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated receptionist to join our growing team in Williamsville, NY. This role involves greeting residents, staff, and visitors, managing calls, and providing administrative support within a continuing care retirement community.
Responsibilities
- Answer the telephone, determine nature of call, and direct caller to appropriate individual or department.
- Greet residents, staff, visitors and guests warmly.
- Direct visitors to appropriate office and/or resident apartment.
- Monitor presence and location of visitors in the community and ensure that they abide to the Canterbury Woods rules of conduct.
- Report suspicious persons/information to supervisor immediately.
- Assist with administrative duties as directed (typing, filing, mail distribution, etc.).
- Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident care and resident rights information.
- Ensure administrative supplies have been replenished in work areas as necessary.
Requirements
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must possess a working knowledge of office equipment like printers and fax machines.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
