Responsibilities
- Perform SAP Archiving/ILM implementation, deployment, or support.
- Lead technical project tracks.
- Gather business requirements.
- Create rules and policies through ILM.
- Define and monitor archival strategy and jobs.
- Handle unstructured data solutions.
- Perform archiving assessments and solutions.
- Manage deployment and cutover activities.
- Coordinate with functional teams and client stakeholders.
- Handle teams and stakeholders.
- Implement SAP ILM retention management.
- Execute SAP ILM system decommissioning.
- Archive transaction data for PTP, OTC, FICO, and other modules.
- Archive data as part of system migration or conversion.
- Test archiving processes.
- Block and retrieve archived data using PBS & AIS.
- Configure PBS add-on, PBS server, and PBS.
- Archive structured and unstructured data (DMS, archive link, GOS attachments).
Requirements
- Minimum 8-15+ years of relevant experience.
- Good analytical skills.
- Experience in SAP Archiving/ILM implementation, deployment, or support projects.
- Worked in at least two end-to-end SAP Archiving implementation projects.
- In-depth knowledge in advanced SQL optimization for SAP HANA.
- Strong analytical debugging skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills.
- Proven experience leading technical project tracks.
- SAP ILM retention management experience.
- SAP ILM system decommissioning experience.
- Experience in implementations across various environments (ECC, S/4, CRM, SRM, HR).
- Experience in PTP, OTC, FICO cycle archiving and understanding business flow.
- Experience archiving in ECC system during migration or conversion.
- Techno-functional archiving skills.
- Experience in requirements gathering.
- Experience with reporting tools for archived data retrieval.
- Expertise in handling unstructured data solutions.
- Hands-on experience with archiving testing.
- Experience and involvement in deployment and cutover activities.
- Experience handling teams and coordinating with stakeholders.
- Experience creating rules and policies through ILM.
- Experience defining and monitoring archival strategy and jobs.
- Knowledge in ILM scenarios (Snapshot, Conversion, GDPR, Retention Management, Retention Warehouse).
- Knowledge in audit areas for custom requirements.
- Knowledge in handling policies in ILM for object-specific requirements (Company Code, Sales Organization, Plant).
- Knowledge in blocking and retrieving archived data through PBS & AIS.
- Experience handling PBS add-on, PBS server, and PBS configuration.
- Experience working with AWS S3 or Azure Blob ILM store.
- Experience with archiving assessments and solutions, including third-party solutions.
- Structured and unstructured data archiving experience (DMS, archive link, GOS attachments).
