About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Cyber Enablement team. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing, implementing, and continuously improving security capabilities across a large and complex technology environment. You will leverage automation, data-driven decision making, and emerging AI technologies to improve operational efficiency, accelerate delivery, and enhance cyber security outcomes. Working closely with various teams, you will help embed security into platforms, services, and projects from design through to operation.
Responsibilities
- Leverage AI-assisted development, automation, and analytical capabilities to improve engineering productivity, accelerate delivery, and enhance cyber security operations.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve cyber security capabilities that protect TPG Telecom's systems, data, and customers.
- Own the technical lifecycle of assigned security platforms and services, including roadmap planning, integration, operational support, upgrades, and continuous improvement.
- Develop automation, integrations, and tooling using scripting, APIs, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles to improve security outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Lead the onboarding and integration of technologies, applications, and platforms into cyber security services, ensuring alignment with security standards and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise technology or cyber security solutions.
- Experience with automation, scripting, or software development.
- Knowledge of cloud, infrastructure, networking, and security concepts, with experience across one or more technology domains.
- Experience integrating platforms and services using APIs, automation frameworks, and modern engineering practices.
- Understanding of security domains such as Identity & Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Endpoint Security, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Data Protection, and Cloud Security.
- Experience working within large, complex, or regulated enterprise environments.
- Ability to balance security, operational, and business requirements to deliver pragmatic outcomes.
